[IT] Perché chiedete donazioni se esistono già finanziamenti pubblici e il 5×1000?
La ricerca scientifica viene finanziata attraverso diversi strumenti, ma spesso i fondi disponibili non sono sufficienti per avviare rapidamente progetti nuovi ed esplorativi come Microbi Chef.
Il 5×1000, inoltre, viene destinato all’ente in generale e non finanzia direttamente questo progetto specifico.
Con Microbi Chef vogliamo raccogliere i dati necessari per verificare un’ipotesi innovativa sul rapporto tra microbiota e metabolismo tumorale. Per farlo abbiamo bisogno di un supporto immediato e mirato.
Grazie al programma BiUniCrowd dell’Università di Milano-Bicocca, ogni donazione vale doppio: raccogliendo 4.000 euro potremo sbloccare altri 4.000 euro di cofinanziamento da parte dell’Ateneo.
[EN] Why are you asking for donations if public funding and the Italian “5×1000” system already exist?
Scientific research is funded through different mechanisms, but the available resources are often not sufficient to rapidly support new and exploratory projects such as Microbi Chef.
Moreover, the Italian “5×1000” tax donation system supports institutions in general and does not directly fund this specific project.
With Microbi Chef, we aim to generate the data needed to test an innovative hypothesis on the relationship between the microbiota and tumor metabolism. To do this, we need immediate and targeted support.
Thanks to the BiUniCrowd program of the University of Milano-Bicocca, every donation is worth double: by raising €4,000, we will unlock an additional €4,000 in co-funding from the University.
